I really need help from the community right now. I made an iTunes backup and resetted my iPhone and then when I tried to restore it the backup kept saying 'corrupt backup'.
I really need to fix this coz that one single backup contains so much pictures and memories from the past year. I am using an iPhone 6S Plus and running iOS10.1.1 and my iTunes is ver 12.5.4.42 I did see that alot of people were recommending Decipher Backup Repair but I am tight on money and cannot shell out the 30$. I also read threads on using Decipher Backup Repair to locate the corrupt files and use iBackupBot to delete those corrupt files. Apparently deleting the 'LexierrajaJP-dynamic-text.dat' file fixes the problem. I did download iBackupBot but then my backup from iTunes is encrypted and iBackupBot says that 'The encrypted backup for iOS10 and later is not supported.' Guys, what should I do now?
Are there any other alternative tools that works like iBackupBot which can delete the 'LexierrajaJP-dynamic-text.dat' file? Or is there a way that I can break the encryption on my backup file and then use it on iBackupBot?
I have tried and read so much for the past day and I am at wits end on what to do. I have no prior experience in the jailbreak community so I desperately ask for help from you guys. Thanks for reading this. Sorry to hear it didn't help. In any case, keep the backup of course. Maybe in the future you'll be able to get something to fix it. Maybe you could contact support for that app and tell them you tried the free trial for their app, and you couldn't fix your backup.
Ask them if the full version will work to solve this problem. If they say it will, you could buy it and if it doesn't actually work you can get your money back according to their website (in 30 days). I know you said you're right on money but this is the only option if nothing else works.
Also, I don't know why but your post on was removed. That means others can't see that post. You could try posting it in as well.

Not sure if you're still seeking help. But I personally use 'iMazing,' 'iFunBox,' and/or 'AnyTrans,' when I need to get stuff out of my backups. All of them do different things, and seeing as iTunes says your backup is corrupt, iMazing might actually be of use to you. There's been so many times where iTunes says it can't find a backup for my phone, but iMazing finds it and is able to restore it.
As for the encryption part. I can't say much about that part seeing as I always forget my encryption password and therefore stopped encrypting my backups. They're all locked away on an external drive anyway. Look into those apps.
Hopefully they work for you. Good luck bud. Oh yeah, for the most part they're free, and if they aren't.
They give you a trial for some amount of days. Either way, it'll still let you use the program after the trial period. You're just limited as to what you can do though.
